Our Offer So many rock climbers realized the potential of Hvar climbing areas and some of them made first bolted rock climbing areas in 2002 and 2003. For now there are few climbing areas (Hvar, Stracine, Milna, Vela Stiniva and Sveta Nedjelja). The potential for new routes is huge, and many crags are still waiting the first route. NGO «Stina» gave us a very good example in Vela Stiniva how routes need to look like. They started with bolting in that area and they made more than 50 routes. Most of the routes were made by well known Slovenian climber and route maker Vili Gucek, who also made and climbed first 8a on island Hvar. Idea of NGO «Stina» was to make rules or we can say to copy rules like on island Kalymnos (Greece) so that in the future we have safe and very good routes all over the island. Multi-pitch routes are possible on some areas in the traditional way of climbing.

Gear - The majority of the routes are all well-bolted sport routes which require a single 50- 60m rope and around 15 quickdraws.
Grades - The sport grades given for the routes on Hvar are in french scale of grades.

- Stracine (close to Stari Grad town) 16 routes/ grades 5a-6c
- Milna (close to Hvar town) 16 routes/ grades 5a-7b
- Vela Stiniva (on the way from Jelsa to Sucuraj) more than 50 routes/grades 4c- 8b+?
- Sveta Nedjelja (Sveta Nedjelja) more than 100 routes/ grades 5a-8a
